Note to condo or townhouse buyers: Even though the building association is responsible
for exterior repairs, those costs may impact you in the form of higher dues and/or
assessments. You'll want to be aware of upcoming maintenance issues for the outside of
your building also.

  • Please sign and return the Home Inspection Agreement before the day of the
    inspection. We'll fax or email the agreement to you in advance for your review and
    signature. For insurance reasons, we can't start the inspection without a signed
    agreement.

  • Payment in full is required before we issue the inspection report. Pay with cash,
    check, VISA, or MasterCard.

  • The water, gas, heat, and electricity should all be on for the inspection.

  • The attic should be made accessible. The seller should remove personal items to
    make room for a stepladder under the attic hatch (or hatches, if more than one
    exists).

  • All areas of the home should be accessible to the inspector including the
    basement, main electrical panel, heating system, water heater, attic, garage, and
    garage attic (if one exists).
